Cena par 3 biļetēm kopā. Adiemus - Dzīvās klasikas koncerts ar Mikelandželo un Vinsents van Gogs gleznu projekcijām
ADIEMUS
Universal human sound beyond words
The title of the programme refers to the idea of British composer Karl Jenkins (Karl Jenkins) of music as a universal language. Adiemus is not a translatable word, but a sonic image expressing the possibility of direct, intuitive understanding beyond the boundaries of language and culture.
This concert is conceived as a special space of perception: an immersion into an atmosphere where sound and visual imagery merge into a unified artistic experience.
PART 1
Digital imagery of Michelangelo is combined with music from different eras. It is performed by renowned Latvian musicians, laureates of international competitions:
String Quartet “Adiemus” (Karl Jenkins String Quartet “Adiemus”)
Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary
Colourful minimalism with ethnic elements.
Concerto Grosso “Palladio” (Karl Jenkins Concerto Grosso “Palladio”)
Palladio
A stylisation of Baroque instrumental music, a brilliant and energetic work that became a true hit, inspired by the architectural heritage of Andrea Palladio. The reference to the principles of concerto grosso gains special meaning here: as in High Renaissance art, there is a pursuit of clarity of form, proportion, and inner harmony, closely related to the artistic thinking of Michelangelo’s era.
“Spring” from The Four Seasons (Antonio Vivaldi “The Four Seasons” – Spring)
The Four Seasons
As an image of light, movement, and renewal.
PART 2
The programme will feature:
“The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires” (Astor Piazzolla “Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas”)
Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas
by Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
He was a true innovator who transformed tango into concert hall music.
The cycle will be performed in an exclusive arrangement by Werner Thomas-Mifune.
The music will be combined with visual material inspired by the paintings of Vincent van Gogh (Vincent van Gogh). Here, music reveals a more tense and pulsating sense of time, its variability, and inner energy.
And, of course, the closing includes all-time beloved classical music hits.
The Adiemus programme unfolds as a sequence of states in which the listener is immersed in a unified artistic space beyond words, yet with utmost clarity of perception.
